Science 10: Education

COURSE SYLLABUS

Science 10 acts as an introductory course to the senior sciences. In this course we will investigate 3 main areas of science: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. We will look at the impact of humans on climate and ecosystems, biodiversity, and the role of feedback mechanisms to start the term off. Next we will spend a decent amount of time on the introduction of chemical reactions including properties of elements, naming chemicals and equations, and various models used to represent chemicals. Lastly we will look at force and motion in our world, specifically how objects interact in various situations.
