Social Studies 9: Education

COURSE SYLLABUS

Social studies is the study of people and their relationships with their social, physical and technological environments. Social Studies is meant to help students know and appreciate the past, understand the present, influence the future and make connections between events and issues of the past, the present and the future.

In this course we will look at many topics throughout history while focusing on 4 main themes: Time and History, Change, Government Systems, and First Nations Roots/Culture.
